We're seeking a Senior School Improvement Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our efforts in enhancing educational outcomes across the county.About the RoleAs a Senior School Improvement Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage school improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality learning experiences across all schools in Northamptonshire.
  • Design and implement effective strategies to boost school performance, providing targeted support and intervention where necessary.
  • Collaborate with school leaders, governing bodies, and stakeholders to ensure strong governance and effective leadership.
  • Act as the key point of contact for Head Teachers on school improvement issues and provide expert guidance across a range of educational areas including Safeguarding, Inclusion, and SEND.
  • Champion the needs of vulnerable learners, ensuring their voices are heard and their educational experiences are enhanced.
  • Oversee and evaluate school improvement plans, working with internal teams and external agencies to align resources and ensure value for money.

About YouWe're looking for a candidate who has:

  • Proven senior management experience in a school or local authority setting.
  • A strong track record of effective teaching and leadership across at least one key stage.
  • Experience in implementing school improvement strategies and demonstrating measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and allocate resources effectively.
  • The ability to manage teams, lead projects, and foster collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
