Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and supervise exceptional care tailored to individual resident needs
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Lead and manage shifts, providing guidance and support to junior staff
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and foster a positive team spirit
- Prioritise workloads effectively and ensure smooth shift operations
- Be available for on-call emergencies
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home care setting
- Qualification/experience in the Safe Handling of Medicines
- Genuine interest in and experience working with older adults
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
- Satisfactory DBS check
