As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. You'll lead and support your team, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and supervise exceptional care tailored to individual resident needs
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Lead and manage shifts, providing guidance and support to junior staff
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and foster a positive team spirit
  • Prioritise workloads effectively and ensure smooth shift operations
  • Be available for on-call emergencies

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home care setting
  • Qualification/experience in the Safe Handling of Medicines
  • Genuine interest in and experience working with older adults
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
  • Satisfactory DBS check
