Our client is recruiting a General Manager for their busy community pub and restaurant near Northampton. You will be an outgoing and welcoming host and have overall responsibility for ther efficient managment of the restaurant and bar. Our client's focus is on offering great local service and running community events, entertainment at the pub alongside offering excellent food and drink. They are looking for a good manager and leader who can drive the business forward.

The Role
- Responsible for all aspects of food and drinks service
- Managing the front of house teams
- Training and developing the team
- Managing all financial aspects of the business
- Achieving agreed financial targets including GP margin
- Running events and entertainment at the pub to drive sales
The Person
- An experienced General Manager with a strong pub background
- Able to develop good relationships with your team, managers and the community
- Ability to offer a sophisticated level of service in a relaxed manner
- Someone who is out front and can build relationships with guests
