justteachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner Nurseries in the Northampton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Early Years professional to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, supporting young learners in developing essential foundational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting theEYFS Teacherin delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Providingone-on-one and small group supportto promote early learning and social skills.
  • Encouraging childrenslanguage, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and sensory play.
  • Creating asafe and inclusive learning environmentfor all pupils.
  • Supporting children withSpecial Educational Needs (SEN)to ensure tailored learning approaches.
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines where necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support childrens progress.

To be considered for this role, candidate must have:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification(or equivalent).
  • Experience working in anEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)setting.
  • A strong understanding ofchild development and learning strategies.
  • A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young children.
