justteachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner Nurseries in the Northampton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Early Years professional to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, supporting young learners in developing essential foundational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting theEYFS Teacherin delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Providingone-on-one and small group supportto promote early learning and social skills.
- Encouraging childrenslanguage, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and sensory play.
- Creating asafe and inclusive learning environmentfor all pupils.
- Supporting children withSpecial Educational Needs (SEN)to ensure tailored learning approaches.
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines where necessary.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support childrens progress.
To be considered for this role, candidate must have:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification(or equivalent).
- Experience working in anEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)setting.
- A strong understanding ofchild development and learning strategies.
- A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young children.
