HR Advisor

Northampton

Up to £37k per annum

ENB are working with our client in Northampton who are seeking a new HR Advisor to join their people team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will form part of a team of 5 supporting 100-120 colleagues within your areas of business which will require this person to work independently for some of the time.

As the HR Advisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing the providing generalist HR advice to colleagues, driving continuous improvement and building strong working relationships across the area of business.

Other key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

  • Being the key point of contact for HR, ER and training related issues from the line of business
  • Producing accurate payroll information and inputting information on to the payroll system
  • Ensure all new starter details and associated paperwork is issued
  • Maintaining all personnel and training records
  • Manage and access all training records and training needs
  • Collating and reporting KPI information to the HR Manager
  • Provide support to the management team in resolving employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, mental health and absence management

Experience required:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 or demonstratable experience within HR
  • Somebody with high levels of resilience but also innovative with your approach
  • Happy to work independently, but also form part of a wider team.
  • Proven employee relations expertise including experience of conflict resolution, grievance, and disciplinary resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
