Are you an aspiring IT professional with 6-12 months of experience looking to grow your career in IT support? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join a dynamic and supportive IT Infrastructure team.

About the Role:

As a Junior IT Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for IT support queries, providing Level 1 support to users across the business. You will manage helpdesk tickets, assist with hardware and software setup, and ensure IT systems are running efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 IT support via helpdesk, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Manage and escalate support tickets as required.
  • Document and maintain IT assets, including equipment setup and configuration.
  • Ensure IT workspaces are functional and well-maintained.
  • Travel to company sites when required to provide technical support.
  • Assist with proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Support the wider IT team and contribute to higher-level IT support as your skills develop.

  • 6-12 months of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Basic understanding of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • A “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
