About the Role:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team, providing critical support across various in-demand technology platforms. This role goes beyond basic IT support, offering you the opportunity to develop expertise in areas like infrastructure, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in diverse technical areas including Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, MS SQL, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Hyper-V, VMware, and various networking technologies.
  • Collaborate with your team to efficiently manage and escalate support requests while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, offering proactive updates and solutions.
  • Contribute to server maintenance, patching, backups, and continuous improvement of IT environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 1+ year of experience in an IT support desk role, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), internal IT support, or telecommunications/networking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and servers, with certifications a nice to have e.g. CompTIA A+ & N+, AZ-900 or higher being even more advantageous.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
