PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Residential Groundworks Sector to recruit a Trainee / Graduate Engineer to Join their Engineering team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in Northamptonshire area.
Trainee / Graduate Engineer Roles and Responsibilities
- Drawing document control - ensure all drawings are correct, up to date and the correct persons have them.
- Coordinate drawings and setting-out on site.
- Ensure that all setting out is checked, once completed ensure that no errors were either provided by the client or introduced during the process.
- Ensuring familiarisation with the construction details to advise site staff.
- Keeping and maintaining adequate records for future reference and back up.
- Full compliance and review and understanding of the pre-site start minutes or periodic notes as distributed.
- All of the above to be done with reference to and support of the Engineering Manager.
Trainee / Graduate Engineer Requirements
- Good standard of GCSE's and A Levels
- Relevant work experience highly preferable
- Full clean driving license and access to a car
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- General knowledge of various contracts and contractual terms.
- Keen interest and desire for a long-term career within Construction
- Degree within Civil Engineering would be desirable
Trainee / Graduate Engineer Benefits
- Salary - 25,000 - 28,000 DOE
