Our client, a well-established and dynamic engineering and manufacturing company are looking to expand! They are currently looking for an Production Assembly Operative to join them.
Production Assembly Operative Roles and Responsibilities:
- Production build of complex electromechanical assemblies
- Follow documented processes and controls
- Use of primarily hand tools to: Install contactors, relays and busbars, manufacture and install LV and HV wiring harnesses, Install printed circuit boards
- Perform in-process and end of line tests following documented processes
- Complete and maintain build records and production documents
- Work consistently to achievable cycle times to support delivery of the production schedule
- Participate in process reviews and support the development of process improvements
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area following 5S principles
The ideal Production Assembly Operative will:
- Experience of assembly work gained within an automotive, aerospace, marine or motorsport manufacturing environment
- Be able to carry our mechanical or electromechanical assemblies
- Have the ability to follow detailed work instructions and drawings
- An understanding of the requirements of a production environment
