Our client is currently seeking a Commercial Renewals Handler to join their team in their Northampton office.

As Commercial Renewals Handler, you will be responsible for managing the renewals process for an existing portfolio of commercial clients. You'll act as a key point of contact, focus on building long-term relationships, ensuring policies are renewed efficiently and aligned with clients' needs.

35-hour week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (60-minute lunch).

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of the renewal process, from quoting to policy issuance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving requirements and providing expert advice.
  • Negotiate terms with insurers to secure the most competitive and suitable cover for clients.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance coverage or offer additional products.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance sector.
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Accuracy and efficiency in managing documentation and data.
  • Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.
