Position: Catering Service AssistantLocation: TowcesterHours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 14:30Hourly Rate: £12.00THIS ROLE IS IN A REMOTE LOCATION SO HAVING A CAR IS REQUIRED!YOU MUST ALSO HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS TO WORK WITH CHILDREN AND A FOOD HYGINE CERTIFICATE. About the Role:An exciting opportunity has opened to join our client’s catering team in Kettering. We are looking for a Catering Service Assistant who is passionate about food and customer service. This is a Monday to Friday role, ideal for those seeking work-life balance while gaining experience in a dynamic environment. You will work alongside a friendly team, ensuring a great customer experience in the cafeteria or restaurant setting.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service: Serve customers in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring all interactions are professional and positive.Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team, contributing to a smooth and efficient food service operation.Basic Food Preparation: Assist in simple food preparation tasks, helping the kitchen team when necessary to maintain the high standards expected.Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen, service areas, and restaurant are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.Cash Handling & Promotions: Operate the cashiering system efficiently and assist with vending services.
