Our client, an award-winning law firm based in the East Midlands, are looking for an Employment solicitor who has the ambition to contribute to a growing department and achieve partnership in their career.
Given many of the firms’ partners actually completed their training at the firm, they really do strive to promote internally wherever possible, so the opportunity is genuinely there for someone with drive and ambition.
The Role:
- The lawyer will undertake a caseload of contentious and non-contentious for (largely) employer clients, which include SMEs, OMBs and PLCs.
- Advising on projects (including re-structuring, changing terms and conditions of employment, and large-scale redundancy exercises).
- Representing clients in employment tribunals, including conducting own advocacy.
The Person:
- Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales, candidates at NQ level and above are encouraged to apply.
- Have experience, whether during a training contract or post qualification, working with employer-based clients.
- Due to office location, own car is preferred.
