My client, a boutique employment law firm based in Northampton, is seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join its dedicated team. The Role:

As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of predominantly claimant work across a variety of employment law matters. You will provide advice and representation on issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and redundancy, ensuring high standards of client care and legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of employment law cases, focusing on claimant work
  • Provide expert advice on a variety of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and other employee rights issues
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunals and settlement negotiations
  • Work closely with clients to guide them through often complex legal issues, providing tailored solutions
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment law and contribute to the firm’s expertise in this area

You:

  • 3+ years PQE in employment law with a strong focus on claimant matters
  • Demonstrable experience managing a variety of employment cases, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, and redundancy matters
  • Strong client care skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong advocacy skills, including experience in Employment Tribunal cases, would be an advantage
