Our client is looking for a driven and experienced Litigation Solicitor or CILEX professional with 5+ years PQE to join their Litigation team, supporting departments across the East Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious probate litigation, along with a solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, SRA regulations, and other relevant codes of practice. Adhering to applicable legislation and policies will be a crucial aspect of this role.The Firm are looking for someone who naturally builds strong relationships and communicates with confidence.   • Managing a caseload suitable for a full-time fee earner.
  • Conducting pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case evaluations.
  • Providing legal advice to clients on contentious matters.
  • Drafting pleadings, statements of case, and pre-issue documents, and filing them with the court as needed.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks, including meeting deadlines, organising case files, and managing documentation.
  • Attending court hearings and conferences, with or without counsel, as required.
  • Preparing and organising exhibits, documents, evidence, and briefs.
  • Collecting and analysing relevant information from multiple sources.
  • Communicating with internal and external third parties.
  • Assisting with high-value or complex claims managed by other fee earners.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
