The Role:

We are partnered with our top ranked client in Northampton seeking an NQ- 3 Year PQE Solicitor to join their well-respected Private Client team. This is a full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise while contributing to the growth and success of the team. Hybrid working is available.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including drafting wills, administering estates, providing tax and estate planning advice, and creating trusts.
  • Advise clients on the preparation of powers of attorney, care home planning, and other private client services.
  • Support senior members of the team with more complex matters, gaining exposure to high-value and complex estates.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients, offering tailored and practical legal advice.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including attending client meetings and events to enhance the firm's profile.
  • Ensure client matters are handled efficiently, meeting deadlines and managing expectations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ- 3 years PQE.
  • Proven experience dealing with Private Client matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to apply it in practical settings
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage and prioritize a demanding caseload
  • A proactive approach to client relationships and business development
  • A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with changes in law and practice

Package:

  • Competitive salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience).
