Are you an experienced Quality Manager or Quality Engineer looking for a new role managing the Quality function of a fast paced SME manufacturing business Are you confident of implementing and running Quality systems and policies to support best practice Are you looking to take on a new challenge helping to deliver production quality, customer satisfaction and system compliance.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience in managing Quality and Environmental systems and delivering best practice and be keen to get involved in this hands on, production focused environment. You will be experienced in Production based Quality Control, investigation and production improvement with VA/VE , LEAN and Kaizen as part of your skills set.

Your Duties will include:

  • Driving compliance and performance across the standards to achieve improvements in product quality
  • Have a hands on approach to production quality with quality control being the top priority
  • Manage the systems , currently ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001 with 45001 being a future system requirement
  • Proactively champion best practice throughout the business
  • Work closely with customers , supplier and departmental managers to deliver to quality targets
  • Lead investigations into non-compliance through route cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Play a lead role in VA/VE ,Kaizen and LEAN projects and help implement changes
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to achieve business objectives and targets through Quality processes
