Production Planner required for a Helicopter company located in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of helicopters. This role would be ideally suited to a university graduate or college leaver that lives within a commutable distance.
Production Planner Position Overview- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and company targets, ensuring optimal use of resources and machinery.
- Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and components required for production, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Capacity Planning: Analyse production capacity and workflow to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Order Processing: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to process orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Quality Control: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Salary- £25,000- £30,000
