Our client has a new vacancy for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their small but busy and friendly team.

Your Role:

  • Day to day assisting with a busy caseload of matters
  • Opening and closing files
  • Completing anti-money laundering and compliance procedures
  • Legal searches
  • Providing quotations
  • Speaking to relevant parties over the telephone - ie clients, solicitors, lenders and estate agents
  • Preparation of Contracts
  • Processing Completions
  • Using case management system
  • General administration duties

Requirements:

  • Have an understanding of the conveyancing process and have previous experience as an assistant or secretary
  • Have a confident telephone manner and be able to make and receive calls from clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders and estate agents
  • Have good organisational and administration skills
  • Will be confident and capable when meeting clients face to face who occasionally drop into the office to collect or deliver paperwork
