We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team, based at our Northampton office.

This is an exciting opportunity, and the successful applicant must have experience of working within a busy residential property team. You will also be IT literate and committed, with a previous working knowledge of using case management systems.

Responsibilities

This is a full and busy role and will include the following:

  • Supporting the Team Leader.
  • Dealing with initial paperwork.
  • Issuing draft contracts.
  • Title checking, raising and reviewing enquiries and reporting
  • The potential to manage your own caseload under supervision (depending on your experience).
  • Ordering and checking routine property searches.
  • Setting up matters for completion.
  • General administration.
  • Checking mortgage offers.
  • Dealing directly with clients, estate agents and lenders.
  • Supporting other members of the team whenever possible.
  • Post completion.

Requirements

You will have the ability to confidently manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Residential conveyancing experience and the ability to work within a busy team is essential. Excellent business development skills are desirable, as well as strong organisational skills.
