The Logistics Manager Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee daily activities and grow the team. You will have a sharp business mind, financial acumen and proven success in managing a similar department for maximum productivity. A typical schedule may run from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off, so weekend availability is needed. However, this can vary based on seasonal business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity+ Maximising transparency through monthly management report and weekly updates+ Implementing new processes as and when required+ Ensuring that logistical activities remain on time and within budget+ Tracking logistics requirements+ Leading, motivating, and supporting our logistics team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment+ Being hands on when the business requires it, and leading from the front+ Working closely with other departments to ensure an overall smooth running operation+ Working with HR to ensure compliancy in relevant matters+ Overseeing materials and inventory+ Overseeing vehicle / fleet management+ Building rapport with on site staff and organisers
A bit about you:
+ Two or more years of proven success in a logistics management role+ Proven leadership skills+ Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisational control of direct reports+ Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite and Workforce Management Software (Liveforce)+ Proven reporting experience+ Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
