Plant and Transport Manager
Location: Scaldwell, Northamptonshire

A leading in-situ road recycling company specializing in structural repair and maintenance of failing roads is seeking a Plant and Transport Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Scaldwell.

About the Company:
As the UK's largest and most experienced company in this field, the organization provides cost-effective, quality-assured solutions to Highway Authorities and private clients nationwide. Their innovative on-site process involves pulverizing existing roads and adding cementitious powder for deep structural repair with a 20-year design life, while reducing carbon emissions and promoting recycling.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant and transport department and workshops.
  • Plan and manage scheduled maintenance, including vehicle PMI inspections, MOT tests, and servicing.
  • Handle on-site breakdowns and coordinate repairs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Optimize the use of plant and transport equipment, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams and with external service providers.
