Macildowie Recruitment & Retention - Supply Chain & ProcurementProduction Planning & Supply Planner - Up to £40,000 Per Annum - NorthamptonshireMonday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm - Hybrid Working AvailableMacildowie Supply Chain is delighted to have exclusively partnered with a growing and reputable supply chain management organisation in the food industry to recruit a Production Planning & Supply Planner.The key objective is to support and deliver Supply Chain objectives including supply planning, procurement and co-packing, to meet the stock holding targets.Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time to achieve continuity of supply of products always ensuring 99% stock availability.
  • Partnering with fellow Supply Chain Planners and Coordinators to procure, transfer and produce to plan in a timely manner in line with co-manufacturing plans.
  • Collaborate with third party co packing sites, to monitor/track plans and output to ensure the business is meeting the stock holding targets required.
  • Manage the planning and ordering processes, ensuring minimum order quantity, stock levels and delivery dates are all achieved.
  • Continuously monitor stock holding and planning cycles within your portfolio, working with the wider business to ensure no residual inventory.
  • Track and manage supplier performance through regular reviews.
  • Monitoring and checking outstanding orders, ensuring all orders are updated and there are no overdue orders.
  • Support with the procurement of packaging and finished goods.

The Candidate

  • Comfortably able to build working relationships with internal colleagues/wider group and external suppliers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • A previous background of operations planning and coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience within FMCG specifically the Food & Beverage Industry.
  • Experience of Supply and/or Demand Planning within a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role.
  • Microsoft Dynamic Business Central or SlimStock/Slim 4 experience Desirable.
