A Senior Solutions Design Manager is required to support and guide a team in the design and implementation of complex supply chain solutions for a leading UK 3rd Party Logistics provider. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics solutions design processes, optimisation and innovation, with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Description
- Work as part of a team focusing on the design and implementation of complex warehousing solutions solutions.
- Provide technical support to the Business development team in customer meetings
- Work closely with the business development and account development teams to create bespoke tender responses.
- Oversee solution design projects to sometime tight timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Provide support to the Operational teams to assist innovation and efficiency that ensures alignment with strategic objectives.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in the supply chain process.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, innovations and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.
Profile
A successful 'Senior Solutions Design Manager' should have:
- A strong educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar solutions design role within the transport and distribution industry.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data (Exel, Access or similar)
- expertise in Warehouse modelling and layout tools is highly advantageous (AutoCad, Sketchup, CLASS or similar).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of different quality compliance requirements for various sectors (Food, Bond, Pharma, healthcare, high value etc.)
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.
