- Transport planning and liaising with transport firms
- Procurement and commercial negotiation
- Monitoring carriers' performance and evaluating their efficiency by reporting and maintaining key performance indicators such as on-time delivery
- Follow transport purchase process for cost and budget control
- Manage transport related documents, initiate and follow customs procedures
- To identify transport opportunities and persuade prospects that Logtek products and services best meet their requirements
- To develop and nurture long term relationships with existing and prospective haulage firms, and interpret their requirements
- To understand commercial models and requirements to ensure new business fits within these criteria
- A conscientious and highly motivated self-starter with 'can do' attitude and the ability to prioritise.
- Proactive, efficient, organised with the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Team player - ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Experience working in the Retail, Logistics or Manufacturing industry would be advantageous. Experience in a similar rental and pooling industry.
- A full clean driving licence.
