We are seeking a Warehouse Manager with a strong background in ecommerce operations to join our team in Brackmills, Northampton. This role offers an immediate start, with hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
Role: Warehouse Manager
Location: Brackmills, Northampton
Salary: £50-55K (Higher salary considered for candidates with a strong freight background)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory management and stock control systems.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, overseeing hiring, training, and performance.
- Understand and integrate ecommerce processes and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards for a secure working environment.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs to track performance and productivity.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve operational issues.
- Implement and manage warehouse management software systems.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
