Location: Northampton Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000Summary:Our client is a rapidly growing, agile and fast-paced parcel delivery solution service and ecommerce fulfilment business operating from a Northampton hub fulfilling thousands of order per week. As they continue to grow and evolve their processes in the warehouse, they are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to take overall accountability for the operation of their fulfilment and warehouse facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall control of the warehouse activities and ensure that all work is completed to plan.
- Manage, mentor and motivate a small warehouse operative team.
- Identify ongoing warehouse process improvements.
- Plan resource deployment aligned to activity volumes.
- Drive best H&S practices.
- Seek opportunities to re-align existing warehouse lay out and flow.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Possess at least 2 years' experience in a warehouse or warehouse shift management role.
- Good understanding of collection and delivery courier services
- Have existing knowledge of working through a WMS.
- A people leader who creates a positive, engaging working environment backed up by a performance measurement culture.
- Organised, thorough and an accomplished communicator with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within a fast-moving fulfilment business would be beneficial.
