Our client is seeking an experienced Subsidence Loss Adjuster to join their Subsidence Team. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, the successful candidate will collaborate with the team to provide technical input and take ownership of cases, utilising their expertise to achieve appropriate outcomes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, validate, and make recommendations on subsidence and property insurance claims.
  • Manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate settlements.
  • Collaborate with experts in various aspects of claims to facilitate comprehensive investigations.
  • Maintain high levels of technical, quality, and service delivery.
  • Commit to innovation and provide market-leading service and products.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
  • Ensure personal and professional integrity, leading by example.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of subsidence and/or property insurance claims and principles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in first or third-party property damage claims.
  • Strong background in insurance claims and adjusting, particularly in handling first-party property damage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and investigation skills.
  • High IT competency and literacy.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhering to deadlines and service standards.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally ACILA qualified or committed to working towards this qualification.
