We have partnered with a progressive business in Northampton, who are extending their team looking for a Maintenance Engineer.You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on plant, ensuring minimal disruption to production requirements.
Key Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of plant and machinery
- Carry out any repairs or modifications to machinery as necessary
- Fit and assemble mechanical components during reactive or preventative maintenance tasks
- Work closely with the team to ensure minimal disruption to downtime across the site
- Carry out electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis to identify reoccurring issues
Requirements:
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment including 18th Edition experience
- Demonstrable experience in 3 phase electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs
- Experience working with Compactors, Balers and Extruders highly desirable
- Ability to work independently
- Organisational skills & Attention to Detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands
- Critical thinking skills
