What Youll Be Doing:
- Servicing and repairing a variety of production machines and their control systems- think PLCs, computer controls, plant services, and more.
- Youll be fault finding and fixing issues across production lines, control systems, and plant services.
- Testing electrical installations with all the right tools- no shortcuts.
- Preventative maintenance on process systems, safety systems, and electrical distribution.
- Running small projects from design, build, install, to commission.
- Designing simple electrical control systems-youll take the lead in producing drawings, sourcing parts, and getting things up and running.
What Were Looking For:
- Recognised qualifications (Apprenticeship, BTEC, C&G, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering)
- Proven track record in servicing and maintaining production plant systems (think PLCs, VSDs, soft starts, and process controls).
- Experience reading electrical drawings and using test equipment.
- Youve got a sharp eye for problem-solving and fault analysis.
- Bonus points if youve got experience with Mitsubishi or Siemens PLC systems, mechanical and pneumatic systems, or food industry machinery.
