- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring timely and quality completion of orders.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, coordinating with design, procurement, and logistics.
- Lead and develop a team of upholsterers and production staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet company standards.
- Manage inventory, ensuring efficient material usage and maintaining stock levels.
- Develop production schedules and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- A minimum of 2+ years in managing production teams and improving manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing, or knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and furniture manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in upholstery techniques, materials, and equipment, including CNC and sewing processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is desirable
