Graduate Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Are you an Engineering Graduate with AutoCAD experience looking to join a premium lifting solutions provider where you will be given direct one-on-one training through shadowing and external courses, to develop into a fully-fledged project engineer?

In this role you don't require any background in project engineering, this company wants to train a hardworking and keen graduate eager to learn about the crane and lifting industry.

You'll receive training through shadowing others and industry-related courses, produce designs of components and equipment, sit in on project meetings to update on progress, collaborate with other Managers on designs, and attend site visits with seniors once you're up to speed.

This role would suit a graduate looking to kickstart their project engineering career in the craneage and lifting industry, for a growing company who will invest heavily into your development through ongoing training, with clear routes to progress into a qualified appointed person (AP) responsible for planning lifting operations.

The Role:

  • Designing technical drawings and plans for the service operations
  • Working with Contract Managers to ensure designs meet industry specifications
  • Ongoing training through shadowing experienced Project Engineers
  • Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm, with optional overtime
  • Gym membership, Private healthcare benefit scheme, Life assurance

The Person:

  • Mechanical Engineering / Construction degree
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • UK Driver's License
