Due to substantial growth and the growth of the engineering team, we are now looking to welcome an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The package:· Salary between £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience· Overtime available at 1.5x (2x Sunday / 3x Bank Holiday)· 25 days annual leave + Public Holidays + extra day off for your birthda· Company Pension Scheme / 5%, Employee Assistance Programme, Sickness Income Protection· Committed to ongoing training and development· Life Assurance x6· Enhanced Maternity / Paternity Pay· Long Term Service Awards (£500 Bonus), Holiday Buy Back Scheme, Birthday Holiday Pay The Duties:· Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on a variety of pressing and blow moulding machinery.· Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of plant machinery.· Carrying out any work required around the site, working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery where required.· Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications to ensure all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.· Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant.· Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies. The Requirements:· Minimum 3 years worth of experience as a mechanical or electrical bias engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)· Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities (essential)· In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery· Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - advantageous· In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery· Full UK Drivers LicenceInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
