Kap Technical are working with a market leader in the design and build of automation solutions., Who are looking to recruit the following.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Main Tasks of Job Role:

  • All aspect of mechanical design related to project work within the business.
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, keeping in mind the budget, timelines and other essential resources.
  • Production of drawings 3D drawings within SolidWorks and 2D in AutoCAD.
  • Creation of detailed BOM for all designs for projects.
  • R&D related tasks within the business.
  • Mechanical assembly and disassembly to aid workshop when needed.
  • CNC programming.
  • CNC tending and machine setup.
  • Liaise with customers and attend customer meetings onsite and offsite.
  • Report to the senior mechanical design engineers and report to the company regarding the status of each project
  • Research and keep up with the dynamic technology and trends in the mechanical design spectrum.
  • Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them.
  • Maintaining a high level of respect for all staff.
