Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with experience using CAD looking to train and progress at an international company that create innovative imaging systems meant for the exploration of Space?

On offer is the opportunity to join a company that are world leaders in specialist camera systems that design, develop and create state of the art equipment that can transform the way we observe and monitor Earth. This company you will be working with industry experts looking to develop the next generation of their imaging systems.

In the role you will be using your knowledge of 3D CAD programs in a team of Mechanical Designers involved in the conception, development, creation and testing of detailed schematics and mechanical designs for manufacturing whilst testing the geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing. This role requires both individual and team work to support procurement and supplier engagement.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with experience using CAD looking to train and progress to a senior role at an international company that create innovative imaging systems meant for the exploration of Space.

The Role

  • Develop and Create highly specific CAD drawings to specifications
  • Work with suppliers to procure equipment.
  • Work individually and in teams to design imaging systems.

The Person

  • Experience with 3D CAD Systems
  • Mechanical Engineer degree or similar
  • Based in Northampton
