Service / SupportEngineer with experience of servicing and repair /technical support ?Test Engineering of instrumentation (Automated Test beneficial) required for growing manufacturing business. Experience of electro-mechanical and electronic engineering with software integration. The role will be site and field based (20% of your time) although site based whilst on product training which will be extensive to provide a thorough knowledge of products through manufacturing and systems testing. In-house and on-site calibration, diagnosis, repair and any application software issues.
We are seeking anEngineer with a minimum of 5 years experience from an engineering Service Engineering background (Not IT Support) who is eager to broadenproduct knowledge and skills. Ideally will have an engineering qualification in electronic engineering/electrical engineering and Knowledge of National Instruments systems.
- Electronic engineering qualification
- Factory and Field based servicing / Test Engineering (5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
- Repair and calibration activities
- Fault finding and diagnosing complex system to component level
- Electro-mechanical
- Electronics
- PCB repair benefitial
- Experience of instrumentation control systems such as. LXI, GPIB, Labview / Teststand / PLC Programming (Benefitial)
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
- Able to travel at short notice in UK and Europe
- Security check will be required
