Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer who wants to work on leading dairy manufacturing machinery and process equipment? This is a multi-faceted role covering service, installation, maintenance and breakdown. Workshop based in Leicestershire and travelling to customer sites nationally.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £57,000 dependant on your relevant experience

We have excellent in-house and manufacturer training for you. A chance for you to be workshop and customer site based. No two days, weeks will be the same for you if you want a varied role.
 
You will need to live within 30-45 minutes of our site, because some weeks you will have no call-outs or planned installs or maintenance. We will keep you busy though with hands on testing, fault-finding in our workshop. You do need to be prepared to travel to customer sites UK wide and occasionally abroad too.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer - Commercial Refrigeration, Industrial Refrigeration, F-GAS
 
· Pre delivery inspection at our premises in Leicestershire
· Installation and commissioning of machinery equipment
· Reactive response to breakdowns - the better they're maintained the less they break!
· Customer training post service and installation
· Routine planned maintenance - you understand the importance of this!
· Update and maintain machinery and equipment manuals
 
YOUR BACKGROUND: Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer - Commercial Refrigeration, Industrial Refrigeration, F-GAS
 
· You will have experience with refrigeration equipment, chillers, coolers or similar - that could be from manufacturing or commercial environments
· Experience working with relevant machinery - Ice cream machinery is preferred but we are open to a background of dairy, frozen or chilled food manufacturing and/or process machinery or distillery equipment. If you are unsure if your background is suitable, please ask us
· You understand this role will involve travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, service and breakdown when you are not in our workshop and there may be occasions you need to stay over too
· Hold suitable electrical / refrigeration-based qualifications and a good general background in mechanical and electrical principles
· You will hold a Full UK driving Licence
