Service Engineer (Field based) midlands

To support our contracts and with a general upturn in business we require a;
ROLE
- Based in one of our local depots you will cover a geographical area, visiting various sites and once there you will be expected to be the expert on site
- Usually starting with diagnostics of heavy machinery such as plant or construction, agriculture or other off road specialist vehicles
- Servicing and Repairs to the highest standard to new and existing customers.
- You will be representing the company whilst on site so this is a customer facing role and building relationships is important
- The objective of this role is to provide the customer with World Class customer service.
- Build and document knowledge about the customer company and its technical operations
- Feedback any important customer information to the company
- To promote aftermarket products and services to the customer
- To carry out repairs to the highest standard to provide a "First Time Fix" to the customer
PERSON
- Good IT skills (Possessing excellent laptop computer technical diagnostics skills)
- Deep skills in the Service and maintenance of heavy equipment of various manufacturers equipment
- Present a professional image at all times
- Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy
- Possess a recognised qualification in mechanical/ hydraulics./ engines or similar Remote working roles need to be technical specialists with industry experience to be able to work remotely independently and competently
- Clean driving licence and good driving record
- Proof of right to work in the UK
