Mobile Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a customer focused Mobile Maintenance Electrician to look after 4 sites on a mobile basis. You will visit each site once a week. This role will suit someone that wants a role where there is no requirement to be on the on call rota. There is the requirement to work out of hours occasionally (Saturday/Sunday, approx once a month), which is paid at overtime rate.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine pre planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems such as lighting and emergency lighting.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with current regulations and safety standards.
  • Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
  • Undertake Upgrade & Install work
  • Ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests
  • Entering relevant quotes and remedial works onto the in-house system
Requirements
  • Apprentice trained electrician, qualified with City and Guilds or NVQ
  • 17th/18th edition wiring regs
  • Previous experience within building maintenance and multi tenanted commercial buildings
