Competencies for the Verification Engineer will ideally include:

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Electronics related discipline.
  • Proven experience working within the Semiconductor industry.
  • Competence in Digital Design Verification using UVM or similar.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions.
  • Good knowledge of simulation tools (Cadence ideal).
  • A track record in verifying complex designs.
  • Good Scripting skills.

The Verification Engineer role will encompass:Working closely with Design Engineers in verification and validation of circuit designs; developing design verification methodologies and implementing standard debug flows as well as preparing design verification plans based on design specifications utilizing the latest techniques, tools and technologies for all verification activities.
