Our Northampton based client are seeking a 'Sales Administrator' to join their small and friendly team.

The role:

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring efficient sales administration processes and delivering excellent customer service.

Sales Administrator responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and document preparation
  • Communicate with customers via telephone and email to provide product information and support
  • Utilise sales administration software to maintain accurate records of sales activities
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery
  • Prepare sales reports using Excel to track performance metrics

Sales Administrator requirements:

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in sales administration or customer service is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel and Sage preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment
