Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm (there can be some flexibility around the working hours)
Long term temp - maternity cover - could be potential for a permanent position
Our Northampton based client are seeking a 'Sales Administrator' to join their small and friendly team.
The role:
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring efficient sales administration processes and delivering excellent customer service.
Sales Administrator responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and document preparation
- Communicate with customers via telephone and email to provide product information and support
- Utilise sales administration software to maintain accurate records of sales activities
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery
- Prepare sales reports using Excel to track performance metrics
Sales Administrator requirements:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in sales administration or customer service is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel and Sage preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment
