Royal Mail is seeking Seasonal Mail Sorters to help deliver Christmas during the busy festive season.
The role involves unloading mail and packages, moving them through sorting centres, and assisting with sorting tasks.
Candidates should be organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strength and stamina for lifting and moving heavy items.
Available shifts include a Twilight Shift from 6pm to 10pm at £12.54 per hour and from 10pm to 6am at £15.11 per hour, with weekend shifts also available.
No specific year of experience is required for this position.

As a Mail Sorter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every Christmas card and present safely reaches its destinationAs a Seasonal Mail Sorter working at the heart of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Christmas to the nation. You’ll be:

Unloading mail and packages from our vans.
Moving mail and packages through our centres.
Helping sort mail and packages.

About you:

Organised and efficient: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to switch between tasks during a shift.
Strength and stamina: Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11kg).
Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.

Shifts that are available:

Twilight Shift: 6pm - 10pm - £12.54
Twilight shift: 10pm - 6am - £15.11
Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)
