As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Technical Manager to join their business.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Lead, inspire, and manage the Technical Team, overseeing task allocation, team training, performance, and development.* Implement and maintain HACCP and Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure safe, legal, and high-quality products.* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer technical queries and standards implementation.* Actively participate in the Senior Management Team, contributing to KPI reporting and strategic decisions.* Ensure adherence to all company Health & Safety guidelines and policies.* Work closely with the Sustainability Lead to address waste management, environmental issues, and responsible sourcing.* Ensure continuous achievement of high standards in BRC and retailer audits, actively participating in the audit processes.* Conduct in-depth analysis of systems and product monitoring results to identify opportunities for improvement.* Collaborate with NPD and Process teams to ensure the safety, stability, and legality of new and existing recipes.* Participate in customer site visits and factory tours, ensuring follow-up on actions and maintaining audit-ready standards.About you: * Proven track record in a similar role in food/fresh manufacturing is required * Experience in leading BRC and major retailer audits* Able to and comfortable working in a fast paced & busy environment If you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information
