About Us:

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Northampton to support students in a Primary School setting.



Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children across all Key Stages. You will provide individual and group support, assist with classroom activities, and promote a positive learning atmosphere for all students.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Encourage and engage students in classroom activities, ensuring they stay focused and motivated.
  • Help maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support with classroom management and ensure student wellbeing.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources to support lesson activities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Assist with the preparation for and during school events or trips.
