Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join their friendly Private Client team to provide support with a variety of tasks and duties. They are in the top 10 "Best Large Law Firms to Work For" category.

The Private Client team specialise in providing advice on preparing wills, managing estates and preserving wealth.

This is a great opportunity to develop your legal skills and knowledge within a growing, experienced and mutually supportive team. You will be exposed to a broad range of matters and will be working on files, undertaking research, attending client meetings and drafting basic documents.

Some of your duties will include:

Drafting documents and letters of advice to clients under supervision

Drafting and completing basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision

Researching legal issues on behalf of other fee earners

Preparing document bundles for fee earners as required

Taking responsibility for administrative tasks, i.e. coordinating the administration of seminars

Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing them on to the relevant fee earner

The efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving

Undertaking any other duties as required.

Liaise with clients via telephone and email

Attend client meetings both in person and on the telephone, as requested by the fee earner

Attend meetings and take notes as required

We are looking for you to have the following skills and qualifications:

Motivated with a strong commitment to learning

Prior paralegal experience would be advantageous

A Law Degree or previous experience working in a private client teamGreat working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelExcellent communication skills
