Electronic Test Development Engineer

We are actively recruiting a highly experienced Electronic Test Development Engineer with a background within Electronic Manufacturing. Ideally you will be located withan easy commute to our Northampton office (Own transport essential)

Good basic salary £45-£50k

The role of Test Development Engineerwill require you to take responsibility for the design, development of Functional Test Application Specifications of both hardware and software to ensure the highest quality test applicationsprogrammes for electronic products.

General Description

Design and develop applications for the functional test of electronic and electrical products. Define the test approach and/or specifications and document the project scope for each project and generate test programmes using LabVIEW and TestStand

Technical Requirements:

Engineering qualification in electronic/electrical engineeringideally todegree level within-depth relevant functional test programme developmentexperience

Currently employed in a test development role within an electronic manufacturing environment.

Create Test Plans and Test Cases

Software design using LabVIEW and TestStand, to produce functional test programmes for electronic products. 5 years +. This is Essential

Experience of electronic hardware design, including use of schematic CAD

Equipment interfaces (e.g. fixtures), test system architecture and basic electro-mechanical engineering would be an advantage

Basic salary c£45-£50k + Bens and annual Bonus c£6k.

You will need to be eligible to go through aSecurity clearance process.
