Temporary Ongoing, Long Term Opportunity

Full Time, Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours

Are you a hands on maintenance inspector? Have you directly managed trades staff including Carpenters and Plumbers to complete works in domestic properties?

Sellick Partnership LTD are proud to assist a well-known Housing organisation in the Northamptonshire area, in the recruitment of a Trade Supervisor covering Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator at all levels, who enjoys working alongside tradespeople to complete works on time and survey properties to ensure effective voids turnaround.

Duties of the Property Surveyor include:

  • Managing a team of around 10-15 Tradespeople to deliver service requirements, including planning and allocating workloads
  • Ensuring that properties are repaired to the companies lettable standard and returned to the lettings team ready to let in the shortest time possible
  • Conducting pre and post inspections
  • Building schedule of rates
  • Monitoring and directly controlling the use of other resources including materials, plant, vehicles, hand held devices etc
  • Operating and maintaining safety management systems in accordance with the requirements of companies Health & Safety policies
  • Carrying out legionella reports

As a Property Surveyor candidate, you will have:

  • Qualification in Surveying or relevant Building Regulations/Property knowledge and experience
  • Full driving licence
  • Knowledge of property repairs and maintenance
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable, but not essential)
  • Housing knowledge (preferred, but not essential)
