Have you got a background in Production or Manufacturing? Well here at Impact Recruitment we are hiring a skilled Machine Operative to work with a great company based in Northampton. They are committed to finding individuals with a good working attitude that they can train to operate a variety of machinery.
Pay Rate: 12.21 - 13.00
Hours: 7:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 2:30pm Friday
Location: NN4 Brackmills
Job Duties:
- Support the set-up and operation of machines, ensuring materials are accurately cut to specified widths and lengths.
- Monitor machine performance, ensuring consistency and accuracy to avoid wastage and ensure quality.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of machinery, supporting operators in preparing runs, loading materials, and checking inks.
- Perform quality checks on materials to ensure that all items meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and other items safely and efficiently, following company protocols.
Conduct visual and physical quality checks at various stages of the processes, identifying and reporting any inconsistencies or defects.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments is desirable.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
