Senior Technical Buyer

The One Group are working with an automotive consultancy who provide their services to their customers across the areas of internal combustion engines, batteries and hybrid systems for the Automotive sector who are seeking a seeking a Senior Technical Project Buyer to join them on a permanent basis.As a Senior Technical Project Buyer you will be responsible for working in a team ensuring all parts and services are produced using the companies procedures, you will provide purchasing support to the business and engineering project teams to support internal, research and development, prototype and customer production programmes.The role involves supplier management and negotiations along with working with project teams ensuring the timely and cost effectively delivery of quality materials and services for the business needs.You will have the opportunity to ensure correct suppliers are chosen to support specific project requirements and PO numbers are released in the correct manner ensuring change management control.You will ideally come from a Technical Project Buying position from the Automotive sector however other industries such as Motorsport, Off - Highway and Aerospace will be considered.This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally renowned company who exceed their customers' expectations in powertrain development for a range of customers.On offer is a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.If the role sounds of interest, then click to apply and Kieran Evans will be in contact to discuss the finer details.
