Salary: 14.93phr
Location: Northampton (NN3)
Contract: 10-month FTC (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 6am - 1pm & 1pm - 8pm (Weekly Rotating)
Benefits: 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays
The Role

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work closely with the production team to maintain and enhance product quality. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Quality Assurance: Investigate, analyse, and resolve quality issues.
- Technical Support: Provide support to the production department.
- Documentation: Maintain QA records and procedures.
- Laboratory Management: Ensure laboratory supplies and equipment are maintained.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and report on quality trends.
- Product Testing: Conduct analysis, development, and testing of products, raw materials, and packaging.
- Trial Monitoring: Monitor, analyse, and report on technical trials.
- Supplier Liaison: Manage and process supplier complaints.
The Person
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Experience in quality assurance within a fast-paced, demanding environment, with familiarity in the tasks outlined above.
- Ideally, a degree-level education with strong skills in Maths and Sciences, or equivalent QA experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Familiarity with modern testing methods and analytical techniques.
- Strong IT skills.
- High attention to detail, excellent numeracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience in similar / relevant industries.
- Up-to-date knowledge of laboratory and QA methods.
